Visitation
Ideally, children of divorce will continue having a significant relationship with both parents who remain relatively neutral when dealing with each other. The following is a list of parenting tips:
- Be fair and flexible.
- Be timely when picking up and/or dropping off your children.
- Do not use the children to spy on the other parent.
- Do not speak negatively about the other parent in front of the child.
- Timely pay your financial obligations such as child support, daycare costs and health care costs.
- If the children are in immediate danger, call the police.
